The Illustrious Student

Inspired by the story The Illustrious Client by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the webcomic Signs of Three, for SOT's third anniversary celebration.

Sherlock Holmes, an excellent detective and a recovered addict, but was he always like this? Chasing down mysteries and battling with villains? Well, kind of. Take a look back in time as Signs of Three's Sherlock, on your first real case for miss Kitty Winter. She was wronged by a man she trusted, and now, she's determined to stop him before he can hurt anyone else, ever again.

With three endings to discover, how will you solve the case?

TW for harsh language, use of homophobic and transphobic language, mentions of sexual assault, physical assault.

Installation Notes
Playable on Windows 7+ machines

1. Download .zip file containing the program, a .exe, and a file labelled fmodex.dll, which is required to run the game..
2. Unzip the file in a place of your choosing, keep the fmodex.dll in the same place.
3. Open the .exe to start the game.
4. If you encounter the error "This application failed to start because d3dx9_37.dll was not found", you may need to install the Microsoft program DirectX 9, which contains run software for older programs and is free.
